Cells bug

It seems that people started dying when they first join the server at the first round. This just started today and it is on every map. It doesn't happen to everyone.
Here is the list I talked to you about. I'll update both lists as these gets fixed either in a post or on this one. Also the video in the spoiler for hl shows jim doing /cdo for it to open on jb_sg_dojo_v4.
PM me if you find a map or post it in this thread I'll update the list when I see it.

This day needs to be removed or changed. It is not balanced for T's due to CT's having better guns, more HP, same amount of respawns. It causes delaying and usually rounds take the full time which is not fun for T's. A suggestion I heard was that we should limit CT respawns. I think 10 would be a fair amount.

Something needs to be changed about it. Reply with suggestions on how to fix it and if nothing sounds good or works it should possibly be removed.

New Warday Idea

Death and I just realized on Jailbreak after picking an auto bhop fd that there is no similar option for wardays. There is a low gravity warday on JB, although, it is very hardly played just like CT Retake, Gang, etc... If we could maybe try and get the idea of a Auto Bhop Warday (doesn't have to be FFA idk how bad it would be when having that compared to teams warday style), a speed one (depending on how shitty it would be) and then we could combine those with low grav warday & have a good amount of Freeday effect but in Wardays. Anyone who picks any freeday except for autobhop is usually trolling and know that the Guards will lose no matter where they hide, so having it as a warday would be pretty clever.

Let me or Death know your thoughts on this idea in Forum PMs or Discord. 
Also if this has been suggested and denied as a new JB Idea already, sorry Yota, I didn't really check.

RPG bug/change

When you play any RPG warday, the following round(s) your knife will be the rocket. This isn't too bad but it gets annoying. Dying doesn't remove it. Only picking up something does. It can be anything.

A fix to this is to give all the Ts a decoy at round start of next round and then remove it. Or making a fix that can fix this bug would be nice.

The reason this is annoying for admins is it spams console. So if I'm alive and I need to check console, I can't. This is what it shows. It doesn't spam console when you are dead.

Special Normal Days

Just a little idea I thought of, basically a normal day with the warden and last request stuff but with a twist, I don't really know how this would work but I'm open to feedback. Either warden can choose a special normal day or it will randomly do one every once in a while depending on how disliked (cancerous) the day is. Like normal days but with everyone gets an effect (Thirdperson, High FOV, etc.) or more custom things like a Juggernaut Day where all CTs except for one gets switched to T for that round (switched back at the end of the round) and that one CT will get infinite ammo in their reserve and a great amount of health while being the warden of the round.

As you may all know, there are currently two version of Dojo in rotation and it's getting pretty tiresome having two versions of the same map. Few of you guys knew it, but in the past weeks I've been working on a ''X WIN'' text for Jailbreak. I just finished today, and since hl recommended me to do so (and as I wanted to display my MASSIVE PHOTOSHOP LEVEL (Which is not much)), I decided to make a poll.
Pretty straight forward, would you like to keep the old ''X WIN'' text or give a try to my revamped version. The choice is up to you guys. Here are the links (respectively the old and revamped version).

Horror Movie issue

New CS update broke horror movie. Sometimes it keeps the blinding circle around the player, but it shows the enemy playermodels clear as day. tested on both ffa and team and it was broken for both.

Clouds isn't the best map for this, so we changed to dojo. It is significantly more broken on ffa than team.

found this bug while playing i swear this usually used to tp you back to the start if you stand on it for to long don't know if u changed it for tyrones or not but the recall zones on the floors still work

[BUG] Freedays spawning with a glock

Happened on this map https://swoobles.com/map-session-databas..._swbs_v1-1 at the second round I believe. A T selected a freeday as their LR, the next round they spawned with a glock, but the freeday plugin prevents him from picking it up so another T can get the glock, fully loaded. apparently its been happening for a few months now, I've never even noticed it. If it is intended it should definitely be removed.

New Days

When we type days, we get only two options, Wardays & Freedays. Why isn't there more. Why don't we have an option for regular days with custom attributes? They can all be based around existing war/freeday selections, giving freshness and a sense of familiarity. I personally don't know the round requirements for wardays and freedays, but having the round between be custom days would work nicely.

Some days could include:

Movement Based
Weapon Based
Health Based
Vision Based

Auto BHOP
  • Capped T speed (500 units/s)
  • Uncapped CT speed
  • Reduced T health so rebeling won't be too easy (65hp)

Low Grav
  • Variable gravity selection (600, 400, 200)
  • Increased health (135hp)

Weapon Selection
  • Warden selects gun/class (Ex: Rifle Only, AK47, Scout)
  • Possible selection for a random T to get a sidearm as well

Knife Only
  • Potential health choices (100hp, 65hp, 35hp, 25hp)
  • Backstab only option

No Scope
  • Can prevent CT's from using scoped weapons if done late enough for armory
  • Would force rebelers to use closer range guns so open maps(All MC maps, Undertale, Peanut) would be more intense
  • Alternatively, the new NS plugin on minigames could be implemented with a low chance on any day

Juggernaut
  • Boosted CT health (250-500hp)
  • Decreased CT movement speed (225, 210, 200 units/s)
  • Random Heavy Gun Class (Negev/M249 w/ Deagle)

High Risk
  • Both teams start with significantly lower health (5hp, 10hp, 25hp)
  • Medics wont work, only source of health is the CT's medi-shot

Horror
  • Either CT, T, or both get the Horror Warday vision
  • Static or reduction overtime

Third Person/High FOV
  • Self Explanatory

During lr the t and ct are able to damage each other during passive games. It may have something to do with the new update.

Arcade Colors Glitch

On JB_arcade_v5 the colors is broken so it only choses ladders and not any colors like blue or green.

Recently there was an issue with the jihad killing too many of the prisoners with team damage. Someone would randomly activate it in the stack and ruin the entire round. This was fixed, and the following message now shows up immediately before and after the jihad explosion.
This message shows up again at the end of a jihad warday, but reversed: instead of changing the cvar to 1 momentarily and then to 0, it changes it to 0 momentarily and then leaves it on 1. This causes the following rounds to be essentially unplayable.
I was able to recreate this bug 2 times after the original occurrence (which was obviously accidental). It occurs at the end of a jihad warday. I suspect this is because mp_teammates_are_enemies is already 1 and there are jihads involved. Perhaps this glitch would also occur in the other free-for-all wardays if there was a jihad explosion. I haven't tested that, I'll update this post when I test that if this glitch is not already fixed by then.

I wrote this for Yota to link to hl but until then we can avoid this fairly easily.
I haven't done any testing on trying to prevent the bug once the jihad warday starts, you can try slay all though. Tell wardens not to do this warday and punish for intentionally causing this bug (its bug exploiting). Once the bug occurs, it will fix itself on map change. If its not close to map change already, tell the server to rtv or ask a co-owner to restart the server/a zm to change the map.

jb_alter is... awkward

So on this new jb_alter map, you can try doing fancy secrets behind the cells, but here's the thing.
If you fail doing these secrets (hence falling in the void) instead of dying like on clouds, you get tped to this box, near main cell area.
What should we do as a warden? Does it all comes down to our choice, whether to kill them or pardon them?

Hey guys, I'd like to gather the communities feedback on the 11 maps that were entered for the 2020 Jailbreak Mapping Competition.

Please, rank these maps from best to worst, based on your experience while playing them. You do not need to rank every map if you don't want to, it just helps gather an average. Also, if you have feedback for any of the maps, please include that as well.

  • Are there lots and varied games?
  • Are they well implemented and fun to play on?
  • Are there unique and innovative games?
  • Do they fit well into the rest of the map?

Design
  • Does the map look nice and interesting?
  • Is the theme well executed and carried out well throughout the map?
  • Are there other things like sounds, lighting, effects etc?
  • Also extra things like an included radar etc.
Rate ( /30)

Originality
  • Applies to all aspects of the map.
  • Does this map bring things that are new and interesting to the jailbreak community?
  • Does it have a wow factor compared to the other entries?
Rate ( /15)

Balance
  • Is the map fun to play for both CT's and T's.
  • Do the T's have a fair chance to rebel but not so easy that it would frustrating for the CT's?
Rate ( /15)

Optimization
  • Does the map run well?
  • Are there FPS dips in certain area?
  • Does the map include optimisations in it?
Rate ( /10)

Feedback
Please provide some feedback on the map to explain your scoring. This doesn't have to be an essay, just a paragraph or two giving feedback. (if you want to)
